Your 'Just' Is Enough, pt. 1

Nov 23, 2025    Pastor Scott Ochsner

What if everything we've been seeking from God has been within our reach all along? This powerful message takes us on a journey through Scripture to discover that God's miraculous power doesn't require elaborate performances or massive displays of faith—just a simple, genuine touch. Through the story of the woman with the issue of blood who pressed through the crowd believing 'if I just touch His robe, I will be healed,' we encounter a profound truth: our 'just' is enough. Jesus didn't require her to do cartwheels, gather thousands in prayer, or wait for a spectacular moment. She simply believed that one touch would change everything, and it did. This same principle echoes through the Gospels—the Roman centurion who said 'just say the word,' the Syrophoenician woman who asked for just the crumbs from the Master's table, and Jesus teaching that faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains. We're challenged to break free from the mindset that God only moves through the spectacular and embrace the simplicity of His love. When we understand that one drop of Jesus' blood contains more forgiveness than all our sins combined, and that the smallest amount of God's power is greater than any problem we face, our entire perspective shifts. This isn't about lazy faith—it's about recognizing that we've already heard enough gospel, received enough truth, and have access to enough power right now to see breakthrough. The question isn't whether God will show up; it's whether we'll simply believe and reach out in faith.
