Strong Move of Holy Spirit 2 - Session 3 @ Calvary Christian Center
At the heart of this powerful message lies a penetrating question that echoes through eternity: Who do we say that He is? Drawing from Matthew's account of Jesus asking Peter about His identity, we're confronted with the reality that our answer to this question shapes everything about how we live. The message reveals a sobering truth—many people, even those who attend church regularly, have reduced God to something common, something manageable, something that fits their lifestyle rather than transforms it. When we diminish who God is, we automatically diminish our commitment to Him. If we decide He's not holy, we won't pursue holiness. If we make Him common, we'll serve Him on our own terms from our own couches. But intimacy with God—that deep, into-me-you-see relationship—changes everything. Like spending 32 years with a spouse, knowing God means we recognize His voice in a crowded room, understand what breaks His heart, and cannot be shaken by lies others tell about Him. The call here is urgent: God isn't looking for Sunday visitors but daily companions who live in the same house with Him. He knitted us together in our mother's womb with specific dreams and plans, and He longs to confide in us as friends. When we truly know Him, our lives tell a story—boldness replaces fear, hope conquers depression, and we refuse to throw Him under the bus when life gets hard. This is about more than religious activity; it's about knowing the One who counts every hair on our head and catches every tear that falls.
