Betrayed

Betrayal cuts deep, shaking the foundation of trust and leaving wounds that feel impossible to heal. But God sees your pain, and He understands the sting of betrayal—Jesus Himself was betrayed by one of His closest friends. You are not alone in this hurt, and God promises restoration, healing, and peace beyond what you can imagine.

Even my close friend, someone I trusted, one who shared my bread, has turned against me. - Psalm 41:9 NIV

Give your burdens to the Lord, and He will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall. - Psalm 55:22 NLT

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. - Romans 8:28 NIV

Instead of shame and dishonor, you will enjoy a double share of honor. You will possess a double portion of prosperity in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours. - Isaiah 61:7 NLT

Say this prayer aloud:

Lord, betrayal has left me wounded, and I feel the sting of broken trust. But I know You understand this pain, and You promise to heal and restore what was lost. You will never leave me, never deceive me, and never abandon me. Help me to place my trust in You fully—even when I don’t understand. Thank You for filling my heart with peace, forgiveness, and strength, knowing You are guiding me through this. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
